オンラインレッスンって本当にいいの？メリット・デメリットについて

長いパンデミックの中、学校教育は大きな変化を遂げました。国によってはまだ対面授業ができない国もあり、フィリピンもその国の一つです。

では1年半もの間、学校教育はどうなっているのか？

主に3つの学習方法で行っていますが、今回はオンラインレッスンについて、実際の教師や生徒の声と併せてメリット、デメリットをご紹介します。

School is the second home of the students , it is where the students enjoy and get guidance by their teachers on dreams they wanted to come true, where their abilities and skills are nurtured best with the help of their teachers.

When students hear about the word “school” , they also really mean friends, fun and not just the studying part. But when the pandemic came along, how would the students enjoy learning and how would the teachers continue their passion in teaching when everyone was not allowed to have a class face to face? Both were not ready for this learning style. So everyone thought about the best way on how to continue learning and teaching.

As the pandemic continues, students and teachers are the ones of the most affected. As the proverbs say “Never stop learning because life never stops teaching“ and “if there’s a will, there is always a way”.

学校は生徒の第二の家であり、生徒が楽しみ、教師によって導かれる能力やスキル、実現したい夢を叶える場所です。

生徒が学校という言葉を聞いた時、それは、学習するだけではなく、「友達」や「楽しい」という意味を表します。しかしパンデミックになり、生徒は対面授業ができず、学校生活を楽しむことができない中で、教師はどうやって教えることに情熱を持ち続けるのでしょうか？

パンデミックが続く中、生徒と教師は最も影響を受けている人たちですが、ことわざにあるように、「人生は、常に様々な事を教えてくれます。だから学ぶ事を止めてはいけません。」そして「意志があるところに道はあります」。

You can have activities in an easy and safe way using different apps.

You can be flexible with your time schedule.
生活スケジュールに柔軟に対応することができる

Disadvantages　欠点

You can easily forget the time schedule.
生活リズムを簡単に忘れてしまう
You can’t see outside or the real world.
外や現実の世界を見ることができない
You need to learn a lot about the features of each icon/app.

You need money for internet connection.
インターネット料金がかかる
You don’t feel a sense of personal touch or deep feeling of learning.
人との触れ合いや深い学習感を感じられない
You can’t hang out with your students to do extra curricular activities outside school.
生徒と一緒に学校の外で課外活動をすることができない
Your progress will not be a 100% sure.

It’s unhealthy to sit down in front of the laptop or pc and you may have poor eyesight.

実際にオンラインレッスンについて、教師や生徒はどう思っているのか聞いてみました。

Right now, online is much better than offline especially nowadays it’s pandemic.

パンデミックではオンラインレッスンが便利です。

Online is more accessible for all, regardless of distance and is convenient as well for the learners. When situations arise like a pandemic, they can study or learn at home.

オンラインは距離や生徒の利便性に関係なく、すべての人がアクセスしやすく、パンデミックのような状況になっても、自宅で学習できます。

■Mr. Nino (Public high school student)　ニノさん（高校生）
It all depends on the student if they want Online class but for those who are poor they can’t go online because they don’t have a budget to buy technology so they have no other choice but to wait until offline classes start again.

オンラインが必要かは生徒によって異なりますが、貧しい人は機器を購入する予算がないためオンラインにアクセスできず、オフラインクラスが再開されるまで待つしかありません。

In my opinion, I think online class is more comfortable and convenient Because I don’t have to prepare my clothes and text books.

私の意見は、服や教科書を用意する必要がないので、オンラインクラスは快適で便利だと思います。
