セブのおすすめスポット

The Sto. Niṅo Church & Krus ni Magellan サントニーニョ教会&マゼランクロス

The Sto. Niṅo Church is always the most visited spot. It is one of the oldest churches in the Philippines and is located downtown. It is believed that the church stands where the image of Sto.Niṅo was found. In 2013, a very strong earthquake damaged its bell tower but now, it’s restored.

This church houses a museum where you can see a collection of the old clothes of Sto. Niṅo adorned with gems but taking pictures is prohibited.

Just beside the church, you can see a kiosk where the Magellan’s Cross is located. It is the symbol of the arrival of Spanish and Portuguese colonies and the birth of Christianity in the land.

また、教会はサントニーニョ象が見つけられた場所に建てられています。2013年には強い地震の災害にあい、ベルタワーが損害しましたが今は直っています。

この教会には、宝石で飾られた古い洋服のサントニーニョ象が見れる博物館も併設していますが、写真をとることは禁止されています。

教会の横にはマゼランクロスの十字架が売られている売店を見ることができます。これは、スペインとポルトガルの植民地の到来と、この土地でのキリスト教の誕生の象徴です。

Colon Street　コロンストリート

Cebu City is the country’s oldest city and where the oldest street is also located. This street was once the center of trade of the affluent Chinese merchants. You can find the Cebu City Monument here. It depicts the significant history of Cebu and is made of concrete, brass and steel.

Across from this street is an ancestral house turned into a museum owned by Chinese merchant and handed down to its generation. Once you’re there, you can see the fusion of Chinese and Spanish decoratios and antiques. Staff offer guided tour and they are dressed in traditional Filipino/Spanish costumes.

この通りの向かいは、中国商人が所有する博物館があり、その世代に受け継がれた先祖代々の家があります。ここに来れば、中国とスペインのデコレーションやアンティークを見ることができます。ここではガイド付きツアーも提供。スタッフは伝統的なフィリピン/スペインの衣装を着ています。

Moalboal & Oslob　モアルボアル&オスロブ

Moalboal is one of the famous diving and snorkeling sites in Cebu. Many tourists flock here to chill. This is also famous for its long beach. Exquisite underwater creatures are found here like turtles and the famous sardine run.

It is 4 hours away from the city and more famous for the presence of whalesharks and the captivating Sumilon Island. Whaleshark, sandbar, waterfall and ruins-these are the beauties that you can indulge yourself while in Oslob.

モアルボアルはセブの有名なダイビングとシュノーケルスポットです。多くの観光客がここに集まり、リラックスします。ロングビーチとしても有名です。ここでは、海カメやイワシ大群など、絶妙な水中生物が見ることができます。

オスロブは、街から4時間の距離にあり、ジンベイザメとスミロン島で有名な場所です。ジンベイザメ、砂浜、滝、遺跡、これらはオスロブをめいっぱい堪能させてくれます。

Bantayan & Carnaza Island　バンタヤン島&カルナザ島

Bantayan Island and Carnaza Island-as a local, these islands have the cleanest and clearest water that I’ve ever seen. Though these paradise are quite far from the city, I can say that your weekend journey will be worth it You can truly enjoy the sumptuous seafood, serenity and nature at its finest while you are in these islands.

フィリピン人として、バンタヤン島とカルナザ島は私が訪れた中で最も透明度が高くで綺麗な海です。これらはセブ市からかなり離れていますが、週末の旅はそのくらい価値があると言えます。ここにいる間は、豪華なシーフードや静かさ、自然を堪能することができます。

The mountain areas　高地

Some of the recent attractions in Cebu are located in the mountain areas. Adventure cafes, farms, vacation houses/cabins, and flower gardens are getting popular. So if you’re tired of the hustle and bustle of the city, head to the mountains and fill your eyes with the greens and challenge your adrenaline for some adventure.
